[Signing Your Will]

Saving your Will

    1. We suggest that you save your Will before printing.

    2. Click File | Save As... in your browser.

    3. Save it as the default htm/html file.

Printing your Will

You may get headers and footers when you print your Will. We recommend their removal for legal reasons. Try the following:
    1. Click File | Page Setup in your browser.

    2. In Explorer, remove the text in the header and footer boxes. Now print.

    3. In Netscape, uncheck all the header and footer boxes. Now print.

How to sign your Will

    1. Sign at the bottom of EVERY page of the Will.

    2. Sign your usual signature - the one you use every day.

    3. Fill in the date and town/locality of signing on the last page.

    4. The witness must be over 16.

    5. The witness ought not to be someone mentioned in the Will.

    6. The witness must see you sign but does not have to know what is in your Will.

    7. Have the witness sign after you.

    8. Have the witness fill in his/her details on the last page of the Will.

    9. That's it!

    10. Keep the Will in a safe place!

    11. If you are not sure about any of this, email us - better safe than sorry!
